AFL Footy Tipping
|
Amanda (The Cook) organises an annual AFL tipping competition. Costs $30 per person to participate. See display.

Family Fun Day
|
On Sunday 28th February, with 'Sparkles the Rainbow Fairy' as kids entertainment. An opportunity to meet other Merri families. A non-profit activity.

Family Photos
|
A fundraising opportunity for Merri and extended families to have family sittings with professional photographer Gemma Carr. Booked for Saturday 17th April. Futher information will be available closer to the date. $20 sitting fee will be donated to Merri fundraising

Tony's Hot Cross Buns
|
Families have the ability to pre-order fresh Hot Cross buns in time for Easter. Flyers will be sent out with plenty of time to order prior to delivery in the week before Easter. 20% of purchase cost will be donated to Merri CCC

|
Alligator Pasta
|
An opportunity for families to order fresh pasta and sauces as part of a fundraising activity. Information and order forms will go on display closer to the delivery date. Delivery date is planned for late April. 20% of purchase cost will be donated to Merri CCC.

Kids Art
|
The fundraising committee aim to undertake an annual activity that focuses on displaying children's art. This year it will be calico bags. Profit % for Merri is yet to be determined.

Chocolates
|
A big fundraiser for the year. Families will be asked to take home and sell a box of chocolates. The fundraiser is voluntary. Information will be on display closer to the time. 20% of purchase cost will be donated to Merri CCC.

Boscastle Pies
|
A very popular event, where families are able to order fresh pies & pasties from Boscastle. Information will be on display closer to the time. 20% of purchase cost will be donated to Merri CCC.

|
Trivia Night Satuday night in August
|
THE EVENT OF THE YEAR. The once-every-two-years event is on a saturday night in August, yet to be confirmed. The night combines trivia with fundrasing activites and a silent auction. It is an extremely popular night and is the biggest fundraising activity for the year.

|
Footy Fun Day
|
The event is an opportunity for children to dress in their team colours and participate in activities focusing on AFL. A non-profit activity.

Kids Photos
|
A photographer will attend daily from Mon 30th August - Fri 3rd Sept. Children's photos will be taken during one of their days of care. Families will be given the opportunity to purchase photos.

Toy Catalogues
|
Distribution of Chalk Educated Toys, Toys and More & Parent Direct catalogues. Orders are taken in time for items to be delivered before Christmas. There are many educational and other items available which are not readily found in the usual department stores.

|
Crazy Camel Calendars
|
An opportunity for parents to order the 2011 calendar or gift cards displaying personal photos or children's drawings. Information will be on display closer to the time.

Car Boot Sale (TBA)
|
Merri CCC are tenatively planning to participate in the annual Car Boot Sale held at Northcote High in October. Prior to the event, families will be asked to donate second hand items they no longer want. We will also ask for parents to volunteer to assist on the day.

Tupperware
|
Tupperware will be on display from Thurs 14th to Wed 20th October, as part of Kids Week. Parents are welcome to order through Merri. Proceeds go to Merri.

December
|
Christmas Trees
|
An annual event that usually occurs on the first weekend of December. Families will be given an opportunity to pre-purchase fresh christmas trees. Merri will also sell trees to the public. We will ask parents to volunteer to assist with selling trees on the day.

Display Items

Merri Cook Book
|
Amanda has collated some of her all time favourite recipies in the Merri Cook Book. The book costs $7.50 and can be ordered anytime by placing the money in a labelled envelope in the fundraising lock box.

Merri t-shirts
|
Short & long sleve t-shirts displaying the Merri logo are now available. Cost is $15 for one, and $25 for two. There are various sizes and colours, so ask staff or a fundraising committee member for assistance.
